About Vitali Zelinski

Born in Russia in 1981 and currently residing in his Toronto studio, Vitali Zelinski began pursuing art at a young age. In 1992 he studied at the Art School of North Administrative Area Moscow, Russia and Abstract Painting in 2008 at George Brown College, Toronto.

Since 2002, Vitali has been practicing as a full time visual artist. His works often featured reoccurring patterns and bimorphs until he developed his own style of evolved biomorphic symbiotic landscapes. He has also developed a unique style of decorative art paintings.

He had his first solo exhibition in 2009 at the Toronto Art Center. Since then, his work can be seen at The Bluffs and Sleeping Giant galleries, as well as established venues like The Gladstone Hotel, Distillery Historic District, and many other events in and around Toronto.

Vitali acted in the movie "Behind the primary colors" and was the vendor/agency coordinator for the Scarborough's ANC EE/KP 3rd Annual Summer Festival. In 2009 he was the recipient of the Ontario Art Council Exhibition Assistance. He is currently represented by Norman Felix Gallery and is a member of Scarborough Arts Council.
